Dance:UK is a combination of the game and a truly unique 8-way dance mat (dance mat available separately) - no other product on the market offers 8-way combinations, and features 30 music tracks, including chart-topping hits from award-winning acts such as Mis-Teeq (One Night Stand), Sugababes (Round Round), DJ Sammi (Heaven), Junior Senior (Everybody), Oliver Cheatham ft Room 5 (Make Luv), Liberty X (Gotta Have Your Love) and Daniel Beddingfield (Gotta Get Through This).Dance:UK includes an exciting range of varying play modes. The main game challenges the player to progress though a sequence of dance competitions before attempting to win the top prize in a professional grand final with all the action taking place in lifelike 3D 'club' environments. Roaming cameras capture the excitement and atmosphere perfectly, while motion-captured characters groove to the music offering support and motivation when required. Additional special effects add to the fun.Dance:UK incorporates three difficulty levels. Beginners can learn to dance with slower tracks and only the traditional four-way dance steps. As confidence and skill levels rise, so do the music tracks' BPM (beats per minute) rate and finally eight-way dance routines are introduced. The reward is the ultimate dance challenge!Perfect for parties, the head-to-head modes allow players to compete against each other. Two players can battle it out in their very own dance-off. Extra points are awarded for accuracy and there are extra points for performing certain combinations. Dance:UK includes an innovative handicap system that allows players with 'two left feet' to compete against seasoned groovers and dance floor divas. For the ultimate party experience Dance:UK can be set to up in consecutive multi-player mode in which up to eight players can dance using one or two mats.
